South Africa's rand holds steady ahead of inflation data, expected rate hike

JOHANNESBURG, Sept 18 (Reuters) - The South African rand was steady on Friday as investors shifted their focus to next week's inflation data and monetary policy meeting, where the central bank is widely expected to raise interest rates.
