Iowa stuns Michigan with September's second last-second touchdown pass in the Big House

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- For the second time this season, a Michigan game came down to the final play.

This time, Iowa completed the last-second pass at Michigan Stadium to stun the Wolverines. Iowa's Hank Brown found Reece Vander Zee in the corner of the end zone as time expired to complete an epic final drive and give the No. 17 Hawkeyes a 20-19 victory.

Trailing 19-14, the Hawkeyes got the ball with 1:46 remaining and drove 91 yards for the winning score, aided by a personal foul penalty on cornerback Zeke Berry. Addison Ostrenga hauled in a tipped pass for a 29-yard gain on third-and-10, giving the Hawkeyes a final play from Michigan's 16-yard line with 2 seconds remaining. Brown threw the ball to the left pylon, and Vander Zee wrestled it away from Smith Snowden to deliver the victory.

Michigan beat Western Michigan in Week 1 on a last-second Hail Mary after officials put one second back on the clock, a decision that spawned major controversy. This time, Michigan came out on the losing end of an equally dramatic finish.
